The content is well organized, frequently updated, engaging and accurate. The University of Idaho's Lewis and Clark Rediscovery Project: Life-Long Learning Online (L3) invites you to interactively experience the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the 200 years of change since the Expedition, and the Mars mission that expands upon the foundation created by the explorers of the past.

Lewis and Clark Then and Now: Linking the Trail to America's Students
Using live and archived webcasts, videoconferences and virtual fieldtrips, this project is produced by educators from the Clayton, Missouri School District with support from Apple Computer, the National Park Service, and a host of others. Be sure to check out the "Archives Arranged by Curriculum."

The Discovery Expedition of St. Charles
During the Bicentennial t hese re-enactors traced the trail of the Corps of Discovery of 200 years ago. Their living history demonstrations and discussions were among the most popular attractions at many commemorations along the Trail, and their journals and photologs provide an informative archive of their trip.

American Journeys contains more than 18,000 pages of eyewitness accounts of North American exploration. Visitors can view pages of journals, letters, reports and pictures from the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The Website includes actual documents, as well as easier-to-read text translations and supporting data. The incredible search engine makes navigating the thousands of documents and images a snap. There are also educator lessons and student resources.
Annotated Research Portfolio
This is webpage contains an electronic portfolio of over 200 Lewis and Clark web pages researched by my Virtual High School students who took my on-line class entitled Lewis and Clark: An Interactive Journey. It includes a summary of each week's study along with annotated websites developed by my students.
